More about the Meurice Hotel in Paris

Located in the middle of the famous rue Rivoli, the Meurice is a 5 star hotel founded by Charles-Augustin Meurice in 1835. In 2011, it was awarded the distinction of Palace. And in 2012 receives the distinction of living heritage company.
In the 1950s it was the favorite hotel of many celebrities such as Salavador Dali, who took up residence there for one month each year from 1959 until his death. The Palace has no less than 160 rooms and suites, spread over 7 floors.

Why book a room at the Meurice Hotel in Paris?

The Meurice has one of the most beautiful views of Paris, from their terraces you can see the Eiffel Tower, the Tuileries Garden, and the Concorde. Its rooms decorated with antique furniture, crystals and gilding on the walls and ceiling, are of incomparable luxury.

I highly recommend the Meurice Paris for a stay with your love one, it’s a very romantic hotel and settings with the terraces with the view on Paris. And tell me, who doesn’t dream of waking up in the heart of Paris in front of the luxurious greenery of the Jardin des Tuileries while seeing the Eiffel Tower?

Your Wedding at the Meurice Hotel in Paris

Would I recommend the Meurice Hotel for a wedding in Paris ?

Their salons are sublime and very luxurious. The Meurice hotel has 3 different salons each of different size and capacity. I would recommend the Meurice hotel for a rather intimate wedding with few guests.

You know my love for candlelight and the Salon des Tuileries is perfect or an intimate dinner with a tons of candles with your very love ones. The style of this Salon with the light of the candles will give to your dinner a romantic side that you will love.

The famous Salon Pompadour, the biggest, can host to 200 guests. This salon with its sparkling 19th century decor evokes the splendor of Versailles and the singular heritage of the hotel. But even if this salon can host a lot of guests, I would recommend you to have an intimate wedding with less than hundred guests.

The last Salon of the Meurice is the Salon du Jeu de Paume. A more intimate version of the Salon des Tuileries, bathed in natural light and adorned with Art Deco frescoes. Discreetly nestled at the back of the hotel, it ensures total confidentiality.

The suites of the Meurice are also perfect for the preparation of the bride and groom. Getting ready for the most beautiful day of your life with a breathtaking view of Paris and the Tuileries, it’s hard to beat that.

The plus of the Meurice Hotel in Paris.

If you like the french gastronomy, then the Meurice Paris is the palace that you need. The restaurant of the hotel has Alain Ducasse as Chef. A world-renowned, two-starred chef and you will have the chance to taste his delicious dishes just a few steps from your room.

But if you love chocolate and dessert as I am, the Meurice Paris also have one of the best pastry chef of the world : Cedric Grolet. You may know his famous realistic and delicious pastries, but if you don’t you will have the chance to eat them at the Meurice.

If you want to have a personalized welcome in the Meurice Paris let me know HERE and I will introduce you to them directly; that way you are guaranteed to have the best service, a gift when checking in and possibly an upgrade.
